Rx in Reach GA Advocacy Training Day - February 20
The 33 health-centered groups of the Rx in Reach Georgia Coalition, the Medical Association of Georgia (MAG), and citizen advocates are meeting for their Step Therapy Advocacy Training on February 20, 2019 from 9:30AM-1:30PM at the Georgia State Capitol Building.
This training will empower advocates to use the new digital campaign platform to raise awareness about Step Therapy and provide powerful tips and instructions to garner support for Step Therapy Legislation in Georgia.
House Bill 63 provides an “exception” process to ensure patients will receive the selected medication their provider knows the patient needs. This bill also ensures that Step Therapy protocols are based on clinical guidelines developed by independent experts.
